The app can't find my location
Road Less Traveled needs location access to show where you are and plan routes from your position. Open your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Road Less Traveled and choose While Using the App. You can also type a starting point by hand instead of using your location.
I only see one route, or a "Backup route"
RLT only shows adventure routes that fit within the extra time you set on the Adventure Level slider. If you see only Fastest, try raising the slider. If you see Backup route — RLT scoring unavailable, RLT's own routing couldn't be reached, so the app gave you a plain route home instead; try again in a few minutes.
A route went somewhere it shouldn't
If a route took you somewhere unsafe, onto a closed or private road, or past places it shouldn't — such as a school zone — please email us with "Route problem" in the subject, the start and destination, and roughly when. We take these seriously. Always follow road signs, traffic laws and conditions over any route.
Privacy and your drive data
Open Privacy & drive data at the bottom of the app's main screen to turn drive sharing on or off, or to delete what you've shared. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
